Miami-Dade Publix and Presidente shoppers split Saturday’s only lottery win in Florida

Of Saturday’s seven Florida Lottery-connected drawings — one Cash4Life, two each for Fantasy 5, Florida Lotto and Powerball — only two had winners and only one of those was from Florida.

Somebody in Oregon won the $331 million Powerball jackpot. The evening Fantasy 5 draw of 8, 13, 25, 28 and 36 was matched by a Quick Pick ticket from Miami’s Airpark Plaza Publix, 5715 NW Seventh St., and a ticket sold at the Presidente at 1060 W. 29th St. in Hialeah. Each ticket won $65,009.

These tickets will need to be cashed at a Florida Lottery district office or the main office in Tallahassee, all of which are hope 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Miami district office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., reachable at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
