Tickets from a Publix in Miami-Dade and a Broward Bravo split a Florida Lottery jackpot
Supermarket shoppers in the southern parts of Miami-Dade and Broward counties split the only jackpot win among Friday and Saturday’s big money lottery draw games.
Nobody hit the Cash4Life, Jackpot Triple Play, Powerball, Mega Millions or Florida Lotto ($43 million for Wednesday’s draw) top prizes as well as three of the four Fantasy 5 drawings.
But, Friday’s midday Fantasy 5 draw numbers — 1, 8, 11, 21, 23 — were matched by tickets bought at the Publix at Silver Palm, 23300 SW 112th Ave., and a West Park strip mall Bravo Supermarket, 4000 SW 40th Ave. Each ticket is worth $28,463.
These tickets must be cashed at a Florida Lottery district office or the main office in Tallahassee. The Miami district office, 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes, is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
