A Florida Lottery jackpot winning ticket worth $56,000 was bought in Broward

Tuesday wasn’t just another Tuesday, but a lucky, lucrative, $56,599 Tuesday for a convenience store shopper in Sunrise.

Nobody won the main jackpots for Mega Millions, Cash4Life and Jackpot Triple Play, but a Quick Pick ticket bought at Fast Stop Food Store, 6811 Sunset Strip, had the Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers of 5, 7, 10, 15 and 20. The owner of that ticket split the jackpot with the owner of a ticket bought at a Kissimmee gas station, each worth $56,599.

This ticket needs to be cashed at a Florida Lottery district office or the main office in Tallahassee, all of which are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The nearest district office to the Fast Stop is at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required, at MIARC@flalottery.com or by calling 305-364-3080. The nearest district office to the north of the Fast Stop is in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., reachable at 561-640-6190 or WPBRC@flalottery.com.
