Frank Reese, 81: First African-American Florida commander for American Legion

Frank Reese, 81, a resident of Palm Beach County for more than 50 years, passed away peacefully at his home on Jan. 25, 2015.

In 1988, Reese was elected as the first African American State Commander for the American Legion for the state of Florida.
