15 Cuban migrants were on an island east of Key West, Customs and Border Patrol said

Cuban migrants were brought in to Key West by U.S. Customs Border Patrol.

For the second consecutive day and the fourth time in six days , a group of migrants from Haiti or Cuba reached the Keys Saturday.

Customs’ Chief Patrol Agent Walter Slosar tweeted that Saturday was the ninth such occurrence in March. Customs agents, helped by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission personnel, got 15 Cuban migrants off an island east of Key West and brought them to the city.
