North Texas Giving Day, one of the largest community-wide giving events in the nation, is on Thursday with over three thousand non-profit organizations open to donations.

As of Thursday morning over $22 million had been raised from over 42,000 donors.

With 14 hours left, the non-profit with the most donations out of the small organization category was Project Beloved: The Molly Jane Mission followed by Northwood Woman’s Club and Denton Animal Support Foundation, Inc.

Direction 61:3 was leading the donations out of the medium-sized organizations and the North Texas Food Bank had the most donations out of the large organizations with over $364 thousand on Thursday morning.

A list of participating non-profits can be found on the North Texas Giving Day website.

Donations are made through the North Texas Giving Day website by clicking on an organization from the searchable list and selecting a donation amount.
