Locals know that climate change is a huge, looming problem for those of us who call South Florida home.

You want to know if all those headlines forecasting doom and gloom are real, how this global phenomenon could be affecting your home insurance premium or power bill and if it’s going to keep getting hotter down here. (Spoiler: that last one is a pretty definitive yes.)

The Miami Herald’s climate team wants to help find the answers, and we need your help.

Send us your burning climate-related questions, and we’ll answer them as part of a periodic series that will sort out the facts from the flood of misinformation out there.
