If you can already hear the ceremonial music, perhaps Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” March No. 1, and see the bright caps and gowns, it’s because we’re quickly approaching graduation season.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools announced Thursday that its Class of 2024 will receive their diplomas from Tuesday, May 28 to Friday, May 31, and from Monday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 5. The school district will hold ceremonies for 69 schools. To read the list of dates and schools, click here.

Meanwhile, Broward County Public Schools announced its own graduation schedule last week. Ceremonies for all 48 high schools, technical colleges and education centers across the school district will take place from Tuesday, June 4 to Monday, June 10. Students and their families can contact each school’s staff for information about cap and gown orders, specific ceremony plans, guest tickets, safety protocols, graduation decorum, and access to live streaming options for family and friends unable to attend in person.

“We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our Class of 2024 with these graduation ceremonies,” Broward Schools Superintendent Peter B. Licata said in a press release. “We look forward to honoring their achievements and sending them off to the next chapter in their lives.”
