WATCH: Miami’s Learning Curve: Navigating Education Access in a Pandemic
When South Florida’s 600,000 public school students return to learning this month, they won’t be seated in classrooms. The COVID-19 pandemic means round two of school in a virtual environment, at least for the short term.
In “Miami’s Learning Curve: Navigating Education Access in a Pandemic,” we will get answers to important questions for students, teachers and parents.
- The superintendents of the nation’s fourth- and sixth-largest school districts, Alberto M. Carvalho and Robert Runcie, will talk about their plans.
- Mental health experts will discuss the social and emotional challenges of virtual school with tips for parents, teachers and students.
- And teachers spanning the K-12 grade levels will address the challenges and opportunities of online instruction for students of all ages.
There’s a lesson in here for everyone.
