Coral Park Elementary was put on lockdown Tuesday morning while Miami-Dade police set up a perimeter to search the neighborhood near the school for a suspect on the loose.
The lockdown was lifted around 10:15 a.m. Other than proximity, the school wasn’t involved with the suspect.
Police say when they went to pick up a subject who had an arrest warrant, he ran. Police set up a perimeter near the school, 1225 SW 97th Ave.
