Woman shot in face at Boca Raton traffic light, police say
A 73-old woman was shot in the face while sitting at a stoplight Wednesday night, according to Boca Raton police.
Around 11 p.m., an elderly couple approached a police officer conducting a traffic stop to report a shooting they saw at the intersection of Powerline and Glades roads just west of the city. The officer called area hospitals and found out a woman had walked into Delray Medical Center with gunshot wounds to one of her hands and her face.
