Bayside Marketplace was packed with thousands of people celebrating the Fourth of July holiday Monday evening when someone fired several shots into the air according to Miami P.D. Police have yet to find anyone that was hit by the gunfire, however. After the shots rang out panic erupted as people attempted to flee the scene in all directions.

One woman jumped into Biscayne Bay, separating herself from her two children momentarily. Police said the woman was pulled from the water and reunited with her children.
