A new Facebook killer? Texas man accused of posting girlfriend’s body

The details of the crime are familiar to South Florida.

A man was arrested and accused of murdering his partner in their home, then posting a picture of her body on Facebook.

No, this isn’t the story of South Miami’s Derek Medina, who was sentenced to life in prison this year for gunning down his wife in their kitchen in 2013.

North Texas Police arrested Kenneth Alan Amyx Sunday on charges of stabbing his girlfriend, 43-year-old Jennifer Spears, to death, NBC reported.

Police said they found Amyx, 45, with stab wounds too, which they think were self-inflicted. NBC said Amyx posted photos of Spears and himself on her Facebook page.

Amyx faces other charges in nearby counties: indecency with a child in Dallas County and continuous sex abuse of a child under 14 in Rockwall County.
