Man kills estranged wife, 2 young kids and himself in Central Florida, cops say

A man who stabbed his wife outside a Chili’s restaurant killed himself and his two children as he made his escape on Interstate 4, according to authorities.

The drama unfolded on Sunday night at the Lake Mary restaurant between a man, Henry Ramone Brown, 30, and his estranged wife, Cherica Brown, 31, according to Ramone Brown was hiding in the trunk of his vehicle before ambushing Cherica Brown, according to police.

When a paramedic and a nurse came to the woman’s aid after she was stabbed, Brown hit them with his car, according to news-journalonline and The Associated Press reported. They were taken to the hospital.

Brown stabbed his wife several times and she died at the hospital, the station reported.

Brown then headed to Altamonte Springs, picked up his 1- and 4-year-old children from a babysitter and headed to the hospital where his wife was taken. After trading fire with deputies at the hospital, he took off on I-4 to Seminole County.

Deputies said he killed the kids and himself on the road as the car was stopped.

Altamonte Springs police records show Chericia Brown filed a domestic violence injunction against her husband in January, AP reported. In the report, Chericia said she believed her husband was cheating on her and that he had threatened to kill her if she took the couple's children.
