Miami Beach police detectives are investigating the brutal murder of a man in his 60s who was found decomposing inside a South Beach condo on Wednesday.
Investigators have identified a suspect but so far have not named the person, according to Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez.
“We have made significant progress on the investigation, although the suspect is not yet in custody,” Rodriguez said.
Few details about the man’s death have been released, including the identity of the victim as detectives try to reach his family. His body was found inside the condo at 1800 Sunset Harbor Drive, a building next door to the Maurice Gibb Park off Purdy Avenue.
