A Florida man who ran across five lanes of traffic to stop his girlfriend from driving away from a Steak n’ Shake was shocked five times by a police Taser.
That didn’t stop him, according to dailycommercial.com.
Police in Leesburg say he managed to grab the Taser as police were about to deploy it a sixth time. That’s when an officer pulled his revolver and the six-foot-two, 195-pound suspect complied to get on the ground, according to the report.
Last week’s drama started as an argument between Floyd Thomas Coburn, 25, and his girlfriend at the burger restaurant. Coburn has been charged with resisting arrest with violence.
