Miami-Dade police investigate armed robbery at 7-Eleven

Armed robbers stormed a Northeast Miami-Dade 7-Eleven Wednesday morning, stealing money from the register.

Miami-Dade Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the robbers.

Two armed men, one wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and black gloves, the other a white ski mask, entered the store at 1000 NE 215th St. around 5:25 a.m., police said.

One of the suspects then approached Wisler Monestine, a store employee, from behind, pushed a firearm into his back and told him to open the register, according to investigators.

As Monestine walked toward the counter, the other man began following him and continued to demand money.

After he placed the money in the robber’s bag, the two men told Monestine to open the safe, but when he was unable to do so, they ran away.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the case to contact CrimeStoppers at 305-471-8477 or 866-471-8477.
