Second teen charged in shooting outside of Carol City High
Miami-Dade Schools Police have arrested a second teenager who they say was involved in a gang shooting that sprayed Carol City High with bullets.
Stanley Ragin, 19, was nabbed Friday afternoon. He is charged with having a gun on a school campus, among other charges. He also had outstanding warrants for strong arm robbery, assault with a firearm and marijuana possession.
According to an arrest form, Ragin is a member of an Opa-locka gang and shot at a possible rival outside of Carol City High on Wednesday. A stray bullet punched through a window at the Miami Gardens school but no one inside was hurt. Police also charged 18-year old Anthony Cedrick Admas in the shooting.
Police have named Raymond Hargrett, 18, as a co-defendent in the case. He is still at-large.
Two different Miami-Dade schools were hit by bullets in less than 24 hours this week.
On Thursday, a shooting two blocks away from Frances S. Tucker Elementary sent a bullet through the window of a portable classroom where a teacher was with four disabled students. The bullet bounced off of a wall inside the classroom, but no one was hurt.
