Police investigating NW Miami-Dade shooting that left one dead, two injured

One man was killed and two women were injured in a shooting Friday afternoon in Northwest Miami-Dade.

Miami-Dade police said three men wearing hoodies forced their way into a home in the 18000 block of Northwest 52nd Path. Inside they found five people — three women and two men.

The pair of men in the home struggled with the intruders, and police said one of the intruders pulled a gun and fatally shot one of the men in the house. He was 26.

Two women were sent to a hospital with minor injuries.
