Passenger detained on Miami-bound plane after pushing flight attendant

A man was escorted off a plane in cuffs at Miami International Airport Monday, accused of shoving a flight attendant.

CBS4 producer Silva Harapetian was heading home after a flight from Los Angeles to Miami.

What was a peaceful trip turned into a tense situation when a woman in front of her screamed.

“He shoved her, he pushed her, somebody come here, somebody help,” Harapetian recalled the woman saying.

The accused man headed to the back of the plane after escaping from a flight attendant.

The sky marshal was able to detain the unruly man until they reached Miami were he was taken to jail.
