Pricey jeans and 2 mannequins stolen in truck-powered smash-and-grab in North Miami
Thieves rammed their pickup truck through a North Miami jeans store and took off with a stash of pricey denims and a couple of mannequins.
The truck crashed in Pembroke Pines after being pursued by Miami Gardens police, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS4. The thieves made a run for it and got away.
Around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, the thieves rammed into the front window of the Purple Carpet, 717 NW 119th St. They made off with 15 to 20 pairs of designer jeans, valued at about $500 a pair, and two mannequins, according to the station.
Police recoverd one of the mannequins from the pickup truck.
