Family members told Miami Herald news partner CBS4 that Shannon was expecting his first child in five months and that his sister was shot and killed near the same spot only six months ago.
“He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time,” said his mother Alicia Shannon.“I want justice served. You need to come forward and do time for the crime you did. You took an innocent person’s life.”
Alicia Shannon told CBS4 that her 24-year-old daughter Ebeny Nesmith was shot dead near the same store only six months ago. That crime hasn’t been solved.
