Shooting at restaurant in Northwest Miami-Dade injures one person

One person was hurt during a shooting inside Mazie’s Soul Food Take-Out at 7525 NW 22nd Ave. in Miami-Dade.

Police questioned restaurant employees and customers who were there when the shooting occurred around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The glass front door of the restaurant was blown out. The victim was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center.

A spokesman for Miami-Dade Police had no further information on suspects or a motive for the shooting.
