Police have found the red BMW convertible that shooters rode in when they opened fire on taxicab passengers Monday night in Miami Beach.

But police are still looking for the shooters.

The car was found near 62nd Street and Northwest Second Ave. in Miami, according to Miami Beach Police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez.

The cab driver told the Miami Herald that a group of men in a red BMW convertible pulled up to his taxi and shot at his two passengers in the back seat. The taxi driver, Ronald Exantus, sped off before coming to a stop at Pine Tree Drive just south of 41st Street.

Exantus was not harmed. One of his passengers was shot in the head and another was grazed by a bullet.
