An argument between a husband and wife ended with the death of a woman, triggering a manhunt that spilled across the state border, police said on Wednesday.
Donald Strange, 59, and his wife were fighting Tuesday when Strange pulled a gun and shot his wife in the chest in front of their children, ages 13 and 11, at their home in the 5300 block of block of Northwest 30th Place, according to Miami-Dade police.
Once his father got in his 2010 Honda Accord and took off, the 11-year-old boy called 911, police said.
Miami-Dade fire rescue brought the 46-year-old woman to Ryder Trauma Center, where she later died.
