South Miami-Dade men charged in rape of exotic dancer
Miami-Dade police arrested two men late Monday after a stripper said she was raped, kidnapped, robbed and then stranded.
Police charged Christopher Warren Mitchell, 23, with sexual battery, battery, kidnapping and strong-arm robbery. Andrew Raul Sarduy, 24, was charged with kidnapping, strong-arm robbery and being an accessory after-the-fact.
Police tracked down and arrested the South Miami-Dade men after receiving a call from a dancer at Ecstasy Nightclub, who said two patrons at the strip club invited her and her brother out drinking after her shift and then back to a friend’s house.
While at the house, the 24-year-old victim said Mitchell invited her out to Sarduy’s Honda Civic to listen to the radio and then attacked her. She said Sarduy saw the attack, and when it was over he got behind the wheel and peeled off before taking $30 from her and leaving her stranded.
Police say Mitchell told them the sex was consensual. Both men were booked at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and held without bond.
