The Lauderhill Police Department said in a July 14, 2026, statement that a man was arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting children across multiple states.

After authorities received a tip that led to a months-long investigation, a 23-year-old man was arrested for sexually exploiting children across multiple states, the Lauderhill Police Department said in a Tuesday statement.

The investigation started in April after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sent a tip generated by the social-media app Snapchat to the department, Lauderhill police said. One of Snapchat’s user accounts was flagged for possibly uploading child sex abuse material.

Investigators identified the account as belonging to Keysean Mash and found six children whom he had communicated with through social media, police said. Mash is accused of using online messaging apps to “engage minors in sexually explicit conversations, solicit sexually explicit images and videos, transmit harmful material to children and possess child sexual abuse material.”

Mash is accused of 27 felony charges, including possession of child pornography, computer pornography, harmful communication to a minor, transmission of material harmful to a minor by electronic device, lewd or lascivious exhibition using a computer and solicitation of a child to engage in unlawful sexual conduct, police said.

His arrest affidavit and his attorney weren’t made available yet, court records show. Mash was being held Tuesday on a $215,000 bond at the Broward Main Jail.

Police said they are still investigating.

Anyone who might have information related to Mash’s case or believes that they or someone they know might have been a victim can contact the Lauderhill Police Department at 954-497-4700 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
