Man hospitalized with serious injuries in shooting, Miami police say

A man was hospitalized in serious condition after he was shot in Miami Saturday night, police said.
Officers found the man wounded by at least one gunshot, but possibly more, around 7:40 p.m. at 6344 NW Miami Place, said Officer Kenia Fallat, a police spokeswoman.
Miami Fire Rescue paramedics took the man, thought to be in his early 30s, to Jackson Memorial Hospital, Fallat said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
