Teenage boy shot outside Little Havana corner store, Miami police say
A 15-year-old boy was shot late Sunday outside a convenience store in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, police said.
The teenager called police around 11:08 p.m. to report he had been shot, a Miami police spokesperson said. He was with a group at a corner store on Southwest Seventh Avenue and Third Street.
While they were there, one or more shooters fired at them, police said. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
The “unknown subjects” were still at large, according to Miami police, who are investigating.
