The FBI is asking the public’s help locating a truck driver who went missing this month while hauling vehicles from Georgia to Miami.

Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez, 41, picked up his cargo at the Port of Brunswick in Georgia on April 16, the FBI’s Tampa field office said. Around 1:20 a..m. the next day, he arrived at a rest stop on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, where he rested for several hours, according to the FBI.

Shortly before 8 a.m., his GPS data shows the truck headed south one exit before turning north toward Jacksonville.

“Soon after, Gonzalez became unreachable, and the truck was reported missing,” the FBI said in a statement.

The truck was located in Port Wentworth, Georgia, but Gonzalez was not with the semi, the FBI said. Three of the vehicles that Gonzalez was transporting have been located in parts of Florida since Gonzalez went missing, agents say. The rest of the haul remains missing, according to the agency.

The FBI did not say how many cars were in the original load.

Agents are asking anyone who was in the area around the rest area in Grant-Valkaria in Brevard County, about 170 miles north of Miami, between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on April 17, “specifically focusing on the southern portion of the rest area near the ramp that enters back onto I-95 South,” to call 1-800-CALL FBI or submit tips to tips.fbi.gov.

Agents are specifically looking for photographs and videos taken by anyone there during that time frame.

The FBI said Gonzalez is 5 foot, 11 inches and weighs about 200 pounds. He is bald with a beard and mustache. He has a full sleeve of tattoos on his left arm and two tattoos on his right arm, one says “Elisia” on his right forearm, according to the FBI.
