A woman was shot early Friday inside a Miramar apartment by a man she knows, police say.
Officers went to the building at 10750 N. Preserve Way around 2:10 a.m. responding to reports of a robbery, said Janice McIntosh, a police spokeswoman.
They found the woman, who has not been named, wounded by gunfire, McIntosh said. Paramedics took her to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately known, McIntosh said.
The man who shot her, also not named by police, knows the woman and is cooperating with detectives, McIntosh said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
