Cardi B’s ex, rapper Offset shot outside Hard Rock Hotel near Hollywood: report
Offset, the former Migos rapper and Cardi B’s ex, was shot Monday outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in near Hollywood, according to TMZ.
A spokesperson for Offset told TMZ that he’s stable, “fine” and receiving medical care at the hospital, TMZ reported.
The Seminole Police Department couldn’t confirm whether Offset was the victim due to privacy concerns, but confirmed there was a shooting at the valet area after 7 p.m. that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual, spokesperson Gary Bitner said. The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
Seminole police “were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly,” he said.
Two people, who were not identified by authorities, were detained in connection with the shooting, Bitner said. The investigation is ongoing.
There is no threat to the public, and operations have continued as normal. A spokesperson for Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood did not immediately respond Monday to a request for comment.
Offset has three children with Bronx rapper Cardi B, who is currently touring in support of her latest album “Am I The Drama?”
Takeoff, who was a fellow Migos member and Offset’s cousin, was fatally shot outside a downtown Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1, 2022.
