Police in Lauderhill are investigating a shooting that left two men injured Wednesday evening.

Around 7 p.m., officers responded reports of a man who had been shot near 1190 N. State Road 7. When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to a hospital.

A short time later, deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office got another call about a man with a gunshot wound near 2600 Northwest eighth Place in unincorporated Broward County, around two miles way from the first scene.

Investigators say the second man had been taken by car from the original shooting location in Lauderhill to the second location. He was also taken to a hospital.

Authorities say there are two active crime scenes connected to the investigation — one in Lauderhill and another in unincorporated Broward County.
