Triple shooting during an attempted robbery in Miami-Dade, police say
A Monday morning attempted robbery turned into a shooting situation that sent three people to the hospital in stable condition, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said.
A 4 a.m. Shotspotter alert drew deputies to Northwest 79th Street and 19th Avenue, where they found a security guard and two other men with gunshot wounds.

Investigators’ preliminary examination indicated that the two men tried to rob the security guard and gunshots ensued.
Northwest 21st Avenue was closed part of the morning for the investigation.
