A Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy went to a Delray Beach movie theater to meet up with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl he met on a dating app — unaware it was a set-up by online streamers who catch predators on camera, police say.

On Friday night, Delray Beach Police officers arrived at IPIC Theaters, 25 NE Fourth Ave., after reports of Christopher Diaz, 50, meeting up with a minor.

The person posing as the teen identified as “Oleson” in Diaz’s arrest affidavit told police that even after she told Diaz she was 15 he continued to talk to her and made the conversation sexual.

When the two met up at the theater, Diaz immediately told Oleson, “I want to kiss you,” and touched her body while Oleson told him, “No, no, no,” police say.

Oleson was “feeling uneasy” due to Diaz’s persistent touching so they left the theater, where Diaz was confronted by 561 Predator Catcher, whose members pose as minors to meet up with adults, police say.

The predator-catchers included MMA fighter Dustin Lampros and controversial Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who both ran up to Diaz as the group livestreamed on Kick.

The video shows Diaz sitting down to speak with Lampros and Zdorovetskiy and admitting he knew the girl was a teen, sent her a photo of his penis and that he worked as a police officer in Miami-Dade County.

“I’m not going to lie,” Diaz said on camera.

Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz said she was “outraged” about Diaz’s alleged actions and ordered the start of the process to fire him.

“Anyone who violates the trust we place in this badge, especially when it involves the safety of children has no future in this agency,” she wrote on X.

Diaz faces a battery charge.

Jail records show he has a $1,000 bond but doesn’t have a release date as of Saturday afternoon.
