Man shot dead Saturday night in Broward hotel parking lot, police say
A Saturday night shooting ended with a man dead in a hotel parking lot, Plantation police said.
According to police department social media posts, a report of shots fired drew police to the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale/Plantation, 7801 SW Sixth St. That’s where they found the person shot.
A Plantation resident posted to Facebook that she heard shots between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Neither shooting suspect nor victim information has been released yet.
