One dead, one injured in shooting at Booby Trap on the River, deputies say
One man is dead and another injured after they were shot outside of Booby Trap on the River, a popular strip club, early Saturday morning, deputies say.
Around 6 a.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies rushed to 911 calls alerting them of a shooting at the club, 3615 NW South River Drive, authorities said. Deputies arrived to find two unidentified men who were wounded.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took them to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition. Sometime later, one of the men died.
Detectives discovered there was a fight outside the strip club, gunshots were fired and both men were hit, the sheriff’s office said.
Details on a suspect have not been released or any other information about the shooting.
