Miramar officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 7520–7550 Pembroke Road, near a Sunoco gas station.

A man identified as Christian Corea was pronounced dead at the scene while another man, who police say was a bystander in the shooting, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A third person later arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound and remained hospitalized as of Wednesday morning, police say.

While police say at least one person fled the scene, detectives are still trying to figure out who fired the shots.
