Miami man broke in, touched man’s genitals and urinated on him, police say
A Miami man woke up during the early morning hours Sunday to a burglar touching his penis before urinating on him, according to police.
Miami police officers responded at about 4 a.m. to a man who had broken into an apartment room on the 4200 block of Northwest 11th Street, according to an arrest report, which detailed the alleged break-in.
The victim told police he woke up to the intruder on top of him, touching his penis over his clothing. He couldn’t remember whether he locked the door that night, according to the affidavit.
“He then proceeded to expose his penis and urinate on me before leaving the room,” the victim said, according to the affidavit.
The victim provided a description of the man. Officers located and arrested 34-year-old Maykel Rodriguez Jr., and he was able to positively identify Rodriguez.
Rodriguez allegedly said, “I know you,” to the man, as he grabbed his clothes and left his bedroom after the incident.
He is facing several charges including burglary of an occupied dwelling, battery and indecent exposure, court records show.
Rodriguez was being held without bond Monday at the Miami-Dade Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center while awaiting a hearing, jail records show.
