Kendall home invasion: 1 shot dead, 3 suspects on the run, MDSO says

One person died from gunshot wounds and three people skedaddled from the area after a Saturday evening attempted home invasion, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said.

According to early MDSO investigation, around 6:30 p.m.., four people tried to force their way into a house near Southwest 110th Avenue and 141st Street. The resident fired at the group, hitting one person. The other three home invaders swiftly left the neighborhood as deputies from MDSO’s Kendall district headed for the house.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue hustled the shot suspect to a hospital, where he died.

Anybody who knows anything about what happened or the whereabouts of the three people who fled can reach out to Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade & the Florida Keys, either online or at 305-471-8477 (TIPS).
