Miami Beach yacht owner forced teens into sex, cops say, hit with more charges
A Miami Beach charter yacht operator, already facing felony human trafficking charges after a teen said she was forced into prostitution, is in more trouble after a young woman told police he forced her into having sex with clients when she was a teen.
Kutay Satiroglu, 45, was already in county jail on charges of trafficking and lewd and lascivious conduct on a minor since being arrested last week. The woman told Miami Beach detectives this week that she and others were forced to take illegal drugs and have sex with Satiroglu’s clients during parties he hosted on his yacht, according to court documents.
The woman, now 21, said she and other young women and teens were “considered a party favor” and “entertainment” on the boat during these parties, according to Satiroglu’s latest arrest form, filed Wednesday.
The woman, who was not named in the report, told detectives that she first met Satiroglu in April 2021, when she was 17 and he was 41. She had no stable home, and Satiroglu took her in to his apartment at 4441 Collins Ave., according to the report.

Three other young women or teens were also living at the apartment, along with Satiroglu, his wife and his two young children, detectives say. She had sex with Satiroglu daily, she told detectives.
Soon after living there, she “was introduced to the yacht party scene,” detectives stated. These parties were hosted by Satiroglu, according to the report.
Satiroglu owned a yacht docked behind a home on Pine Tree Drive, according to court documents, but online review pages also indicate he arranged parties aboard other boats.
She was not only coerced into having sex with men at the parties, she was also forced to take illegal drugs, including cocaine and ketamine, the report states. The woman told detectives that before meeting Satiroglu, she had never tried drugs — but since living with him, she became addicted, according to the report.
One night, back at Satiroglu’s apartment, he made her consume cocaine, and she became ill, she told detectives. He came into the room with another man and said to him, “If you want her, you can have her,” the report states. When both men stepped out of the room, she bolted from the apartment through the sliding glass doors and ran off. She called her sister, who picked her up, the report states.
Satiroglu now faces an additional human trafficking charge, as well as a count of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, according to court documents. He is being represented by the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office, which has not responded to requests for comment on the case.
Satiroglu was arrested last week after a teenage girl’s mother called Miami Beach police, telling them he was holding his daughter against her will. When officers arrived at his house at 5661 Pine Tree Dr., the girl was there, and she told officers she was in a “boyfriend/girlfriend” relationship with Satiroglu that began in April, when they met at a nightclub according to his arrest report.
The girl told police she initially told Satiroglu that she was 21. But by the end of the night, she told him the truth, according to the report.
Satiroglu then offered her a job as a steward aboard one of the yachts that he operates, the report states. The girl told officers that she and Satiroglu got into a physical altercation earlier in the week on his yacht, and that there were two other women on the vessel who are sex workers that he employs for his charters, the arrest report states.
That’s when the responding officers called the department’s human trafficking detectives.
The girl told them that she initially moved in with Satiroglu at his apartment at 900 Bay Dr., but a few months later, they moved to his yacht docked at Pine Tree, according to the report.
The girl told detectives that she would have sex with Satiroglu’s friends for money — between $200 and $800 — and the couple would use the cash “to fund their household.” Satiroglu also taught her how to collect money in advance and provided her drugs during parties, according to the report.
The teen also detailed to detectives that Satiroglu had been physically abusive at times, and would force her to call her friends to come over and have sex with him, the report states. If she refused, he would beat her, she told detectives, according to the report.
Satiroglu is being held at Metro West Detention Center without bond.
