Man shot and killed near Miami’s Liberty City. Deputies are investigating
A man was gunned down early Monday morning in northwestern Miami-Dade, deputies say.
Shortly after 4:15 a.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting near Northwest 18th Avenue and 66th Street in Gladeview near Liberty City. A man was on the ground with a gunshot wound to the upper extremities.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took the man — whose identity has not been released — to a nearby hospital in critical condition, according to deputies. He died at the hospital.
Homicide detectives are investigating the man’s killing. Anyone with information should contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
