Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man and woman — and a baby who may be with them — who they say are connected to the death of a missing 37-year-old Hialeah man, authorities said Wednesday.

Alfredo Carballo Gonzalez, 32, and Ariely Alvarez Cabrera, 27, are wanted in the Aug. 3 death of Daylon Fleitas Gonzalez, who was reported missing on Aug. 4. Gonzalez was last seen in Hialeah, and “indicated he would be meeting with an acquaintance but never returned home,” according to an Aug. 7 statement by Hialeah police spokesperson Scarlett Hernandez.

Possibly with the pair is their 5-month-old baby, Alain Carballo, who MDSO says “may be in danger.”

Deputies said Gonzalez’s body was found in southwest Miami-Dade, but they did not disclose how he was killed or what relationship the couple may have had with him. The couple should be considered armed and dangerous, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities ask that anyone with information contact MDSO homicide detectives at 305-471-2400 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
