Two men shot during early-morning home invasion in Wynwood, police say

An apparent home invasion at a Wynwood apartment complex ended in at least two men getting shot early Thursday morning, according to police.

Miami Police say that there were at least three armed subjects at The Highley House at 2150 N. Miami Ave. around 12:30 a.m.

During the attempted robbery inside an apartment, police say a “struggle ensued” between the suspected robbers and two men.

One victim was pistol whipped, while the other was shot in the leg. A neighbor was also shot in the leg, according to police.

The two shooting victims were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and are in stable condition.

Police say no arrests have been made.
