A man was found dead and a woman injured near the Brightline Station in Downtown Miami, according to Miami Fire Rescue.

A man was found dead in the bushes and a woman with multiple gunshot wounds was found nearby around the Brightline Station in downtown Miami early Wednesday morning, according to officials.

Around 5:15 a.m, Miami Police say they got a call about a woman who was shot in the legs.

After officers and Miami Fire Rescue found her and were setting up crime scene tape by the station, 600 NW First Ave., they found the man.

The woman was taken to Jackson Memorial Ryder Trauma Center. Her condition is not yet known.

Police have not identified the victims.

Police ask that anyone who was in the area around 4:45 a.m. to 5 a.m. to contact Miami Police Homicide or Crimestoppers.
