A man was shot and injured in a Pembroke Pines shopping plaza early Saturday morning.

The incident began with a verbal argument, according to Pembroke Pines Police. Officers arrived to the Pembroke Gardens shopping plaza located at 527 SW 145th Terrace and found one adult man who had been shot.

His injuries are “non-life threatening,” according to police.

Police say the shooter has not been arrested and the investigation remains ongoing.
