Car drivers racing killed two people on motorcycles in Broward, cops say

Two people died in a late Saturday night hit-and-run tragedy involving, Davie police say, multiple car drivers.

The victims in the crash were two of the four people on the two motorcycles that were hit. The surviving motorcycle passengers are hospitalized with injuries not expected to be fatal.

Police say at midnight as Saturday became Sunday, they got a call about a “serious collision” at 3400 S. State Rd. 7. People on the scene told police they saw three or four cars racing, and the racing cars hit the two motorcycles, each of which had two people aboard.

Police say witnesses gave them neither make nor model of the cars involved. Anyone who knows anything can call Davie police

Davie police would like anyone with any information to call the department at 954-693-8200 or reach out to Broward Crime Stoppers online or at 954-493-8477 (TIPS).
