Husband dead, wife critically injured in domestic shooting in south Miami-Dade, cops say
A husband is dead and his wife is in critical condition following a domestic-violence shooting Thursday night in South Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 10:14 p.m. to reports of gunfire near the 19200 block of SW 376th Street. When they arrived, they found the married couple with gunshot wounds. A gun was found near the man.
Paramedics airlifted the woman to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating. The agency has not publicly identified the couple.
