One of the victims in FSU shooting was a father of 2, says law firm hired by his family
One of the two people killed in Thursday’s shooting at Florida State University has been identified by a law firm that the man’s family hired.
Tiru Chabba, 45, was from Greenville, South Carolina, the Strom Law Firm said in a statement released Friday afternoon.

The statement said Chabba was at FSU as part of his job for a campus vendor. According to Chabba’s LinkedIn page, he was a regional finance manager for Aramark Collegiate Hospitality, a food-services and facilities-management company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The other man who was killed was Roberto Morales, 57, who worked in FSU’s dining-services department.

Civil-rights attorney Bakari Sellers said in his firm’s statement that Chabba is survived by his wife and two children.
“Tiru Chabba’s family is going through the unimaginable now,” Sellers said in the statement. “Instead of hiding Easter eggs and visiting with friends and family, they’re living a nightmare where this loving father and devoted husband was stolen from them in an act of senseless and preventable violence.”
“We ask you to keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as we fight to ensure they see justice that honors the memories of Mr. Chabba and all the victims of Thursday’s shooting.”
