A man is facing a murder charge after stabbing his ex-girlfriend and another woman in Broward early Saturday morning, deputies say.

Shortly before 2 a.m., Vital Joseph, 56, stabbed his ex Maguy Pouye at her home on the 1800 block of Runners Way in North Lauderdale, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. First responders transported Pouye and Isabelle Joseph, who was also found with stab wounds, to a nearby hospital.

Pouye, 52, was already dead. Isabelle Joseph, 35, remains in critical condition.

Joseph, who used to live at the house, fled the scene, deputies say. He was arrested in Central Florida and remains in the Brevard County Jail on murder, attempted murder and burglary charges.
